A CDJ (Compact Disc Jockey) is a specialized digital music player for DJing. Pioneer 900 nexus is industry norm. Originally designed to play music from compact discs, many CDJs can play digital music files stored on USB flash drives or SD cards. In typical use, at least two CDJs are plugged into a DJ mixer. CDJs have jog wheels and pitch faders that allow manipulation of the digital music similar to a vinyl record on a DJ turntable. Many have additional features such as loops and beat analysis that are not present on turntables.

The DiGiGrid MGB MADI(interface for transmitting multiple channels of digital audio.) to SoundGrid BNC - is a converter that allows you to integrate a device with a coaxial MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) output into a Waves SoundGrid network.
MADI in live event audio is?
MADI stands for Multi-channel Audio Digital Interface. It’s a digital audio transmission protocol.

- High Channel Count:MADI can transmit up to 64 audio channels at 48kHz sampling rate, 32 channels at 96kHz, or 16 channels at 192kHz via a single coaxial or optical cable.
- Long Cable Runs: Compared to analog audio cables, MADI allows for much longer cable distances (up to hundreds of meters) with minimal signal degradation.
- Low Latency: making it suitable for real-time applications like live sound and broadcast.

Applications in Live Events:

D-rack
The DiGiCo D-Rack is a floor-mounted stage box that provides I/O for audio applications. It has 32 microphone inputs, 8 line outputs, and 8 modular outputs, and can be expanded to 16 outputs. The D-Rack connects to the console work surface using a Digital Cat5e connection, and also has the option for a fiber optic connection.
The D-Rack comes standard with the SD9 system and is available as an option on all SD-Series consoles. It can also be combined with a second D-Rack to provide a total of 72 mic inputs.

L-Acoustics CA-COM connectors are a proprietary speaker cable connector system designed specifically for use with L-Acoustics loudspeaker systems.
- They are a locking connector type. Keeping them secure and that will not come loose during use.
- L-Acoustics CA-COM connectors are 8-pin making them equal to (2) NL4’s.
