A lien against property that is subject to an owners association for nonpayment of HOA fees
Homeowners association assessment lien
A person’s land used as their residence, the equity in which is usually exempt from attachment by creditors to a statutory please set them out, $150,000 in Arizona
Homestead
A general lien place by the internal revenue service for nonpayment of income taxes
Income tax lien
A court order requiring one party to pay damages to the other
Judgment
A statement signed by a contractor by which the contractors claim or right to a lien is terminated
Lien waiver and release
A specific lien claimed by someone who performed work on the property (construction, repairs, or improvements) or supplied materials and has not been paid
Mechanic’s lien – also called
Materialman’s Lien
A tax levied only against properties that benefit from a government improvement (IE a sewer or street light), to cover the cost of the improvement; creates an involuntary lien
Special assessment
A court order directing the sheriff to seize and sell as much of the defendant’s property as necessary to satisfy the debt in the expense of the sale
