For - done by teacher (formative)
- gaining info about student progress so that they can adjust their instruction as needed
As- done by/heavily involved student (formative)
- provides student with info about their progress
what is the difference between criterion and norm referenced standards
criterion - measures students performance based on prescribed learning outcomes (exams)
norm- measures students performance in relation to a set of standards, or to the performance of others (beep test )
