AC3L released exclusively on PS Vita. Ubisoft did a tie in release with Sony for their new PS Vita - first handheld console so people who wanted to be the first to try out new tech would buy Assassins Creed 3 Liberation, doing a tie in release = increase demand for the other product
Ubisoft later remastered AC3L and re-released it in HD so dedicated fans would re-buy AC3L in Hd just for a better quality of game - min risk and max profit

USP - Female, ethnic lead, Aveline = female and ethnic audience. Aveline is presented in an unconventional way for video games as she is not a damsel in distress.
Context of game is set in slavery era = engages historical fans and ethnic minorities and people who like politics
