Theory of mind - can the child attribute their mental states such as the belief emotions desires and knowledge to themselves and others?

Children they point to the box - unaware that others have knowledge of their own.

Children must have to learn theory of mind

Theory - why do we call it theory?
Because we don’t know how the other thinks, their beliefs and their knowledge!

Hence can the child attribute the MENTAL STATE : thoughts feelings emotions desires to others?
