Describe the composition of Parliament in HVII’s Reign.
Parliament met infrequently and so was not central to government. It compromised of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, of which the House of Lords was the most important.

5 met in the first ten years and only two in the remaining 14; this shows that power centred on the Crown and when Henry felt more secure, Parliament could be dispensed with.
