A
  • Its a synovial (diathrosis) joint.
  • Its art. spheroidale, multiaxial and incongruent (labrum glenoidale). Its joint capsule has a recessus cran et caud.

Movement: (ru/eq) flexion/extension

Ca: rotation, adduction. abduction also possible

ligg. glenohumeralis (gelnoid cavity- tuberculum majus et minus) - two parts on medial side.
