Q

What are the 2 types of arteriolosclerosis?

A

hyaline (slow-due to deposits of proteins due to HTN and/or DM)

Q

Mönckeberg medial calcific sclerosis

signifigance

A

benign, does not impinge lumen

signifigant only because may appear on X-ray or mammogram

calcifications are vessels, and look like it, not the calcifications that are cancers
