What are the three categories for female hair length?
Short, medium, and long
What is the length of short hair
No less than 1/4th of an inch, no more than 1 inch
Define medium hair.
Hair that does not extend past the lower part of the collar.
Define long hair.
Hair that extends past the lo0wer part of the collar.
Are hair extensions authorized?
Yes but must be the same color as the natural hair.
What type of tattoos are not authorized?
Extremists, Sexist, indecent, and racist tattoos.
Where are tattoos not authorized?
The neck, face, or hands.
How are tattoos checked?
Annually by the commander.

no more than 2 inches from the face
What color can a turban or hijab be?
Black, tan, camouflaged or if the solider is in a special designated unit that wears a specific color beret, they may wear that beret color.
How do you roll ACU sleeves?
neatly above the elbow but no more than 3 inches above the elbow
When sleeves are rolled is the camouflage exposed or not?
company-level commanders will determine if the
unit will roll sleeves with the camouflage pattern exposed or turned inside out
Where is the ACU not authorized for wear?
