How is Aqua regia prepared?

freshly prepared mixture of 1 part of concentrated nitric acid and 3 parts of concentrated HCL. 1:3. It is v corrosive, it can dissolve all metals, even gold nd platinum though concentrated nitric acid or hcl individually wudnt be able to dissolve them.
