what was apartheid
apartheid was a policy which kept white South Africans separate from black south africans.
they were divided into the categories: whites, blacks, Indians, and coloureds
there were separate facilities in the same society for the use of each group
what were the factors that led to the apartheid system
when the white men came back from war, they wanted there jobs back from the blacks
they dint eat to be put down to the same level as the black people so they created the apartheid system even though they were in the minority
what were the negative and positive effects of apartheid
a lot of physiological effects were down to society. after many years we are still suffering from the effects of apartheid.
many lives were lost. protest took place for the citizens of SA to be given equal and fair rights
why was it made necessary to end apartheid
apartheid as not just a segregation, it was a violation of human rights
innocent children, men, women died just because the colour of their skin was darker than a white man’s.
it was made impossible for ‘‘non whites ‘’ to live a good life
it was truly an era that lacked any form of humanity
