A negative emotional state that is closely linked with arousal levels
A state of apprehension, uneasiness or eagerness

Trait anxiety is genetically inherited, these people tend to be anxious at all times, stable
What is state anxiety?
This fluctuates in response to situations, it is the immediate and temporary response to stimuli. It is a learned behavioural response which can be manipulated
What is peak flow?
Optimal experience that facilitates best performance and is intrinsically valuable
