Valganciclovir Uses
CMV retinitis and prevention of CMV in high risk organ transplant patients
Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) uses
flu in children over the age of 1
Oseltamivir (Tamiflu) AE
nausea - give with food
zanamivir (Relenza)
inhaled - do not give in patients with asthma
Chlamydia tx - adults
Azithromycin once or Doxycycline BID x 7 days
Gonorrhea (urethritis, cervitis, proctitis pharyngitis)- tx
ceftriaxone IM x1 plus azithromycin POx1
trichomoniasis- tx
Metrodonizole or tinidazole
