ANS symptoms (dry mouth, tachycardia, constipation, orthostatic hypotension) Sedation
Haloperidol Side Effects
Extrapyramidal Effects: Acute dystonia (treat w/antimuscarinics) Akathisia - reduce dose or add anticholinergics/BB/benzos Pseudoparkinsonism - treat w/anticholinergic or amantadine Tardive Dyskinesia - usually irreversible
Clozapine Side Effects
Agranulocytosis, lowered seizure threshold
Atypical Side Effects
Weight gain, altered thermoregulation, photosensitivity, lowered seizure threshold, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, QT prolongation
