Side effects: (general for all H1-receptor antagonists)
Sedation, Dizziness, Paradoxical stimulation (esp. in children & elderly), Toxic confusional state, Anticholinergic (e.g., dry mouth), Seizures, Arrhythmias

Diminhydrinate: diphenhydramine + chlorotheophylline
