1) Glucose Screening test: a) No special diet before hand. b) Drink Glucose soln and blood is drawn 1 hour laterc) If result is 140mg/dl it is normal all is good. If greater than 140 pt must return for2) Oral Glucose Tolerance Test: a) Fasting 8-12 before only sips of water allowedb) Blood will be drawn before drinking 100g glucose solnc) Blood will be drawn every 30-60 minutes for 3 hours
