A

ATRIUM// a hall opened to the sky. The atrium had marble columns and bronze statues of gods or the owner. There were pools fountains and flowers.

FRONT ROOM//were sometimes opened to the street as a shop.

There was little furniture , the floors had colourful mosaics and bright murals on the walls

A

MEN// wore togas, they were cold so most men wore knee length Tunics underneath. The tunic was made out of cool linen in the summer and wool in the winter.
WOMEN// wore long tunics with a belt. After a girl married she wore a long woollen tunic called a stola. rich women wore plenty of make up and often died their hair red. They wore jewellery.
