What is the definition of Angina?
A
Chest pain due to myocardial ischemia without infarction

What are the two types of Angina?
A
Stable and unstable

What is the definition of stable angina?
A
Predictable episodic chest pain associated with particular levels of exertion or some other form of increased demand (e.g. tachycardia) that is usually relieved with rest or drugs such as GTN.

A
Increasingly frequent chest pain precipitated by progressively less exertion or even concurring at rest

A
A stable plaque with vasospasm or an unstable plaque with mural thrombus which waxes and wanes

Fixed stenosis of a coronary vessel with >70% occlusion
