Posterial intercostal artery from aorta, Internal thoracic artery at anterior
How does blood drain from the ribs?
Azygous(unpaired) vein into SVC
What serous membrane surrounds the lungs?
Pleura
What is the costophrenic recess?
Where the pleura continues below the lungs allowing lung expansion in inspiration
What is the lungs blood supply?
Pulmonary artery and bronchial arteries
