Aponeurosis
Thin but strong sheet of fibrous tissue that attaches flatten muscles; Seen in the abdomen
Pennate muscles
Muscles whose fibers run Obliquely to the line of Pull; they resemble a feather
Unipennate muscle
Tendon lie along one side of the muscle in the muscle fibers pass obliquely to it
Bipennate muscles
One in which the tendon lies in the center of the muscle and the muscle fibers pass to it from two sides; Seen in Rectus femoris
Mulitipennate muscles
May be arranged as a series of bipennate muscles laying alongside one another; seen in the deltoids
