Anatomical Landmarks and Cun Measurements Flashcards
What 2 methods are used for locating channels and points?
- Anatomical Landmarks
- Proportional skeletal measurements - Cun measurements
What is the preferred and most acurate method for locating channels and points.
Anatomical landmarks and bone cun
What is a fixed landmark?
Protuberances or depressions formed by bones joints, muscles
What is a moveable landmark?
Gabs, depressions, wrinkles and peaks which appear along with the movement of joints, muscles, tendons and skin.

What is the suprasternal fossa?
The depression superior to the sternum between the sternoclavicular joint
Where is the Sternocostal angle and xiphoid process?
Where the lower borders of the rib cage unite.
True or False
The same number of cun between each distance is the same for each person.
The size of cun changes depending on the size of the person
