Anaphylaxis in pediatrics manifests as
A
- Hypoperfusion
- Stridor
- Labored breathing
- Restless, agitiated
- Rash and itchiness
- In extreme cirumstances, epinephrine

A
- Dyspnea (shortness of breath)
- Sneezing
- Itchy and runny nose
- Irrirated and dry cough
- Hoardness
- Labored, rapid or noisy respirations
- Wheezing or stridor

Cardiovascular Signs and Symptoms of allergic reactions
A
- Decreased blood pessure as blood vessels dilate (hypotension)
- Increased pulse rate (tachycardiac). This may go away
- Pale skin
- Altered or decreased LOC

Skin Signs and Symptoms to allgeric reactions
A
- Flushing, itching or burning skin
- Urticaria (hives) over large areas of the body
- Swelling of the face, neck, hands, feet, tongue, etc.
- Swelling and cyanosis or pallor around the lips
- Warm, tingling feeling in the face, mouth, chest, feet or hands

Addition Signs and Symtoms of allergic reactions
A
- Anxiety
- Abdominal cramps
- Headache
- Itchy, watery eyes
- Dizziness
- Decreasing mental status

Treating anaphylaxis (listed in priority order)
A
Severe allergic reactions can quickly turn to anaphyaltic shock
1) Request ALS
2) Assist with epinephrine
3) High flow oxygen
4) Emergent transport
