What is anaphylaxis?
A
Typ1 hypersensitivity reaction involving the release of IgE (mast cells) when exposed to an antigen the pt is already sensitized to–> histamine release–> s/s of anaphylaxis

s/s of anaphylaxis
A
edema, hypotension, tachycardia, wheeze, tachypnea, uticaria, itchiness, n/v/d, Gi upset, altered loa, a/w obstruction

Epi, diphen hydramine, fluid bolus, Spo2, O2 prn ( hiflow), Sal prn, PPv prn
