What is the purpose of process Conformance Widgets?
give you an overview of your process model to highlight different sequence flows of your process
Three types of process Conformance widgets?
- Process conformance
- process funnel
- diagram
What must you do before using process Conformance widgets?
upload a process diagram and map the activities to a BPMN model
Why would you use PC widgetS?
visualizes different variants against a BPMN model of a process so you can compare your actual execution to your process model.
Process of using performance conformance:
- navigate to investigation settings
- link and map BPMN model - click done
- add PC widgets
How to link BPMN model to an investigation
navigate to investigation settings, then map the corresponding activities (either automatically or manually through drag-and-drop method)
What happens if an event cannot be assigned to a task during the mapping stage?
we can leave it disordered, this usually indicates unplanned variant of the process and should be closely analysed later
[process conformance widget] what does the right hand side show?
the average duration between activities
[process conformance widget] where do unassigned events appear?
outside the pool/process model [the diagram lines]
[process conformance widget] how are activities executed multiple times shown? e.g loop
the durations are shown as a stack on top of the activity - first execution is at the bottom and the second occurrence is above that
What does the process funnel visualise?
the density of the moves through your process [by thickness of lines]
What 3 things can the process funnel show?
- track where customers enter and leave your process through the circles at the end of each line.
- Width of lines indicate how much ‘traffic’ is following a particular pathway.
- Numbered circles indicate cases differ from the main process flow and enter at a different place.
What does the process diagram display?
display diagrams from your SAP Signavio Process Manager Workspace
What 2 things can the process diagram show?
The Diagram widget allows you to better visualize your process.
- show you a Customer Journey Map or other Diagrams that are in the SAP Signavio Process Manager Workspace, to better tell the story on your investigation
