A
- sharp pain during defecation
- bright red rectal bleeding
- perianal pruritus
- chronic constipation

A
- laceration
- skin tags - senile piles
- avoid DRE as v painful

- improve diet/fibre/water

A
- last line of mx due to high risk of fecal incontinence *
