(G+) v. poor G+ coverage by self - can be used SYNERGISTICALLY w/ B lactams to enhance activity against gram positives tho.

(G -) *** BIG GUNS FOR GRAM - INFECTIONS (LIKE VANCO BUT FOR GRAM -). (incl. enterobacterales and pseudomonas).

No anaerobic coverage
