Hx - circular ares of hair loss for 5 months - +++ shedding - no Sx PhX - smooth areas of hair loss

- auto-immune attack of the bulb

Tx of alopecia areata
- most improve
- topical steroids and interlesional injections

Hx - diffuse hair loss for months - clogged drains, brush full of hair - 3 months after trigger Phx - diffuse hair loss - pull test +ve

trigger pushes all hairs to telogen SEND Stress Endocrine Nutritional Drugs
what is on Hx and Phx in lichen planopilaris
Hx - hair loss for years - scalp feels on fire Phx - diffure loss - scalp redness - scale around hair follicles
cause and Tx of lichen planopilaris
cause unknown - inflammation
Tx - shut down inflammation
- steroids
- systemics
