What is the goal of psychodynamic self treatment?
A
- To strengthen the weakened self and form a cohesive tripolar self (ther therapist should be empathetic and non-judgemental)
- (the client will bring their unmet needs into therapy and the therapist must meet those needs in a therapeutic and professinal manner)

Therapeutic ambiance (the way the patient’s needs are going to be met): the therapist will meet the patient’s needs by being empathetic and helping them
