Immunoglobulin A vasculitis pathophysiology, presentation & management

- pathophysiology: small vessel vascuilitis of skin, GI tract, joints & kidneys
- presentation: triad of purpura, arthritis & abdominal pain, mainly in children; preceded by URI in 50% of cases
(formerly known as Henoch-Schonlein Purpura) - management: supportive (spontaneously resolves in 4-5 weeks)
