A, B, O, AB
what is the rhesus factor
RH+ RH-, having a RH+ means you have the RH factor and being RH- means you don’t have it
what does it mean when a person is a type O
Type O has neither a A antigen or B antigen
what does it mean if a persons AB
it means they both have A and B antigens
whats agglutination
it’s clumping of the red blood cells when two incompatible blood types mix this can clog the blood vessels blocking the circulation this cause damage to the organs

+A is compatible with -O and itself and -A for -A itself and -O
whats compatible with +B and -B
+B likes +O and the other B’s and -B only likesit self and -O

what happens if a pregnant woman is bearing a child with a different RH factor then the mom
on the first pregnancy, it will effect the mom and the mom makes antibodies if it happens again on the second pregnancy if it happens again those antibodies could get into the placenta and destroy their blood cells.
what is the deises if antibodies from a first pregnancy make it into the blood stream
its called hemolytic disease of a newborn which can do damage to a child
