what is alcohol related fatty liver disease

A

A build up of fat in the liver due to drinking. this can reverse in 2 weeks if drinking is stopped.

what is alcoholic hepatitis

A

inflammation of the liver. associated with alcoholics and binge drinking.
mild hepatitis can be reversed with permanent stopping of drinking

what is cirrhosis

A

the liver is replaced with scar tissue
irreversible.
stopping drinking can prevent It from worsening, continuing to drink has a very poor prognosis.
