How should harmful/hazardous drinking initally be dealth with?
Brief intervention should be tried- advice about alcohol e.g. units of alcohol, details about local groups etc, agree strategies to try and reduce the amount of alcohol e.g. weaker drinks, “spacing”

Men and women- no more than 14/week, ideally spread across at least three days
