Chronic bronchiolitis
A
- chronic inflammation of bronchiole wall (mostly lymphocytes)
- from infection or autoimmune disease
- reversible if irritant removed
- RA is a strong connection
2
Q
Follicular Bronchiolitis
A
- germinal centers in lymphoid aggregates (b-cells in middle and t-cells outside)
3
Q
Constrictive bronchiolitis
A
- inflammation and fibrosis
- scarring bronchioles closed
- inflammation between mucosa and smooth muscle squeezing lumen close
4
Q
Obliterative bronchiolitis
A
- airway lumen obliterated by fibrosis
5
Q
