Air Power - Speed
Speed enables aircraft to get to conflict areas quickly or respond to immediate threats. It shows presence and intent. It gives the flexibility to change at a moments notice.
Air Power - Height
Height enables aircraft to be less vulnerable to attack. The higher up, the further from danger. It also gives a height advantage.
Air Power - Reach
Reach allows aircraft to operate away from enemy territory. It increases operational effectiveness. An example is air-to-air refuelling.
Air power definition
The ability to project power over the air space as well as influencing the behaviour of people and course of events.
