Explain the function of the EMER EXIT LIGHTS switch
OFF: prevents emergency lights system operation if airplane electrical power fails or is turned off
ARMED: all emergency lights illuminate automatically if:
- A/C electrical power fails
- AC power is turned off
ON: all emer lights illuminate
Can the emer lights be activated from the cabin?
- Switch on the aft attendant’s panel
- Pushing the switch to on overrides flight deck controls and illuminates emergency lights
Recall the number and location of all emergency exits
- 2 passenger entry doors (left side)
- 2 cabin service doors (right side)
- 2 cockpit windows (number 2 windows, FOs no. 2 window can be opened from the outside)
- 4 over wing emergency exits
