What is a Controlled Flight? How is clearance requested?
A
A flight which has ATC clearance, by requesting clearance through submission of a flight plan

Under what circumstances must you inform ATC about your speed and time?
A
If true air speed (TAS) between reporting point varies between + or - 5% of that filed in the flight plan, ATC must be informed
If the estimated time of arrival between reporting points varies by more than 3 mins, ATC must be informed

What are the options for VFR if no longer able to operate in VMC?
A
- Request amended clearance to continue in VMC or leave airspace with ATC clearance required
- If no clearance is obtained, continue in VMC and inform ATC
- If in a controlled zone, request special VFR
- Request IFR clearance
