Air Movement operations Defined:
Air movement is the air transport of units, personnel, supplies, and equipment including airdrops and air landings. Air movements are conducted to move Soldiers and equipment; emplace systems; and transport ammunition, fuel, and other high-value supplies.

Non-tactical (administrative)

Tactical
Tactical: movement of troops and equipment organized, loaded, and transported to
facilitate the accomplishment of a tactical mission with the potential threat of enemy forces.
