List the securing airplane checklist
Set the parking break. Put the throttle control to idle by pulling out. Turn the electrical equipment off. Turn the avionics switch off. Put the mixture control in idle cut off position. Turn the magnetos switch off. Turn the master switch off. Turn the standby battery switch off. Install the control lock. Change the fuel selector valve you left or right.
What is the Hobbs time
Hobbs meter records the length of time the battery master switch is on and the engine oil pressure is greater than 20 psi. It is what goes into your logbook and is generally how you are billed for the aircraft time.
What is the tachometer time
It’s a comedy records the total number of revolutions of the engine and converts them to ours based on a standard rotation speed it. Tech time is what used to track airplane maintenance.
