A

Your employees premium is deducted pre-tax through payroll thus lowering your cash payroll and in turn your payroll taxes.

What involvement does the company have in offering Aflac? What are their responsibilities an liabilities?

A

Very minimal. We only require access to the employees, making payroll deductions and payment of the monthly invoice.

What happens when an employee is out on leave or disability, how is their premium paid?

A

Premium must be paid for three months. After this there is a waiver of premium provision.

Why don’t we just offer the programs to the individuals? Why does the company have to be involved?

A

Because it would be more than twice as expensive and they would not have access to all of the programs.
