Can companies pay for Aflac benefits for their employees?
Yes.
How do we save money on payroll taxes and workers comp contributions?
Your employees premium is deducted pre-tax through payroll thus lowering your cash payroll and in turn your payroll taxes.
What involvement does the company have in offering Aflac? What are their responsibilities an liabilities?
Very minimal. We only require access to the employees, making payroll deductions and payment of the monthly invoice.
Can companies offer Aflac to part time employees?
Yes.
What if the company does no offer benefits can they still get Aflac?
Yes.
What happens when an employee is out on leave or disability, how is their premium paid?
Premium must be paid for three months. After this there is a waiver of premium provision.
Who are your competitors, and how do you stack up?
Unum, Colonial, All State. We are the gold standard in employee paid benefits. Our next 4 competitors combined don’t equal our market share.
Why don’t we just offer the programs to the individuals? Why does the company have to be involved?
Because it would be more than twice as expensive and they would not have access to all of the programs.
How much do these programs cost?
They are very inexpensive. They range from $5-$10 per week for an individual.
