What provides power to the
ADS/SRV Solenoids?
Div 1 DC - A ADS and C Solenoids
Div 2 DC - B ADS Solenoids
What provides the N2 for the ADS Solenoids?
They have 7 dedicated 10 cubic foot accumulator tanks that are supplied by tanks 4 and 5 which are supplied from the high pressure N2 system.
What provides the N2 for the C Solenoids?
They are each provided from a 2 cubic foot accumulator tank that is supplied by GSN-TK2 via low pressure nitrogen from the liquid N2 tanks
What is required to automatically open the ADS valves?
L1 signal
L3 confirmatory signal
ECCS Pump Running (CSL-145#, RHR-125#)
105 second timer
What is required to open the ADS Valves with the manual push buttons?
A low pressure ECCS Pump must be running
All conditions are met for the ADS Valves to open.
After the ADS valves go open you depress the reset push button. What happens?
The ADS valves will close and reopen after the 105 second timer is done.

After the ADS valves go open you inhibit ADS with the keylock switch. What happens?
Nothing, the ADS valves have a seal in, you must depress the reset push button to close the valves, after which the valves remain closed.
You do not have any ECCS pumps available to run, how would you open the ADS Valves?
Use the Keylocks in the back on P628/631 to open the valves.
you have a stuck open SRV(Non ADS) and are required to blowdown, what do you do?
Using the keylocks on the P628/631, open the SAME 6 ADS valves on each panel.
At what N2 pressure is it possible that the SRV may open without an open signal?
SRVs may lift if N2 pressure is above 200#
You are manually controlling pressure with SRVs. What caution exists when performing this action?
Should cycle SRVs in a sequence that evenly distributes heat in the Suppression Pool
A rupture in the N2 line supplying the C solenoids cause low pressure nitrogen pressure in GSN-TK2 to drop to 75psig. What action is required?
IAW ARP 851210, a manual SCRAM is required if GSN-TK2 pressure is less than or equal to 79 psig
1 SRV is equivalent to how many bypass valves?
Approx 1 Bypass Valve
1 SRV is equivalent to what percent power steam flow?
Approx 5% power
What are the relief valve setpoints?
