To get ___[Extra info]
"I'm getting angry, im getting suspicious, confused etc.." Answer:SO, to use the word “get” to describe when you “become” something (getting rich, getting/becoming sad, getting/becoming emotional) there are a few useful words that could be used. The most common one I use/hear is “PONERSE”. But this word has SEVERAL meanings. Ponerse (la ropa): “to put something on/to wear something” Ponerse (literal meaning): “to put oneself” Ponerse (with emotions): “to get (insert emotion here)” So, you can say things like, “It got me SUPER upset” “Me puso SÚPER enojado” Same thing as (translation: it PUT me super angry) OR “I got jealous when I saw you with him” “Me puse celoso cuando te vi consigo” (Translation: I PUT myself jealous when I saw you with him) This verb can be a little complex... do you already know how to use reflexive verbs/indirect object pronouns? Because understanding those FIRST is KEY.
