Narrow or wide complex tachycardia with heart rate >150bpm
Adenosine - Pregnancy Category

Adenosine - Contraindications (7)
Second or third degree AV blocks, SSS, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, hypersensitivity to adenosine
Adenosine - MoA
Directly acts on sinus pacemaker cells and vagal nerve terminals to decrease chronotropic and dromotropic activity without causing negative inotropic effects.
Adenosine - Pharmacokinetics
Onset- 5-20sec, Peak- 20-30sec,
Adenosine - Reactions (11)
Facial flushing, paresthesia, headache, diaphoresis, hypotension, chest pain, palpitations, SOB, nausea, lightheadedness, transient asystole (average 6 sec)
Adenosine - Dosage
Adult: 6 mg rapid IVP. If no effect after 1-2 mins, 12 mg rapid IVP. (*12 mg may be repeated in unaffected for a max dose of 30 mg)
Peds: 0.1 - 0.2 mg/kg rapid IVP; max single dose of 12 mg
