Inferior ramus of pubis

A
Pectineal line and middle of linea aspera of femur

What are the actions of the adductor brevis?
A
Adduct, flex and medially rotate thigh at hip joint

Which nerves innervate the adductor brevis?
A
The anterior and (sometimes) posterior branches of the obdurator nerve (L2-L4)

How should you release the adductor brevis?
A
Lay on the opposite side of the muscle to be released and place a ball on top of a bolster. Position the ball under the adductor brevis and longus (about 1/3 of way from groin to knee) and apply pressure for 30 seconds.
