What is the cause of Addison’s disease?
A
A low production of hormones by the adrenal gland (Glucocorticoids & mineralocorticoids)

What are the major symptoms?
A
Lethargy, weakness and weight loss

What is the patients skin color with Addison’s disease?
A
Bronzed color (hyperpigmentation) checks the palms, creases of the skin and over pressure points

Will the serum blood glucose levels be high or low?
A
Low along with the sodium levels. Salts should be increased
