- Employer’s judgement
- Written job descriptions
- Number of people available to perform the function
- Collective bargaining agreement
- The amount of time actually spent
- The consequences if the task is not performed
- The experience of past and present job incumbents

Reasonable accommodations
A
- Making existing facilities more accessible to disabled person
- Job restructuring, part time or modified work schedules, reassignment to a vacant position
- Where no equivalent position is available
