• Frair Lawrence’s plan to help Juliet

  WHAT HAPPENS?
• Paris is at friars cell to arrange his Marriage to Juliet .He explains that lord Cap wants the wedding on Thursday to stop Juliet grieving about Tybalt so much
• Juliet arrives and speaks to Paris who then leaves
• she tells Frair that if he cannot help her to not marry Paris then she’ll kill herself
• Frair suggests a plan
  -he will give Juliet some medicine that will make her sleep(but look at though she was dead)
  -Juliet will be taken to the Capulet tomb
  -Frair will send a letter to Romeo to explain the plan
  -Romeo will come to the tomb and take Juliet to Mantua
• Juliet agree to this plan , she takes the vial of medicine and is to drink it the Wednesday night (next night)when she is alone in bed , nobody knew about this plan

• Juliet pretends to agree to marry Paris
• setting:Capulets mansion
  WHAT HAPPENS?
• The Capulets prepare for the wedding
• Juliet returns home and explains that she has visited Friar, she pretends to apologize to her father for refusing to marry Paris
• Lord Cap says he will have the wedding the following morning(Wednesday)
• Juliet goes with the nurse to get her out ready for the wedding
• Lady Cap is worried that they will not be ready for the wedding the next day
  -Lord Cap says he will help

• Juliet takes the potion
• setting:Juliet’s bedroom
  WHAT HAPPENS?
• Juliet tells nurse that she wants to be alone for the night to pray and ask for forgiveness for her sins
• Lady Cap asks if she needs her help but Juliet says no and suggests the nurse help her mother with wedding preparations
• Juliet speaks to herself, she is afraid of taking the potion/medicine , she takes it thinking of Romeo

• the Capulets prepare for the wedding
• setting:Capulet mansion
  WHAT HAPPENS
• It is Wednesday morning , the Capulets are preparing for the wedding , servants in and out
• Lord Cap tells nurse to wake Juliet because paris is coming

• Juliet’s parents think she’s dead
• setting : Wednesday morning Juliet’s bedroom
  WHAT HAPPENS?
• the nurse cannot wake Juliet and she think she’s dead
• nurse calls Lady Cal and lord Cap , they are very upset
• Frair and Paris arrive at the house will musicians ready to take Juliet to the wedding
• Lord Cap tells them that Juliet is dead, only Frair is calm because he knows that Juliet isn’t dead
• the wedding musicians speak about how they no longer have an opportunity to play their instruments at the wedding , discuss funeral music
