A

no parenchymal abnormalities on CT

consequences of aquired brain injury

A
  • poor QOL
  • cognitive impairment ➔ developmental delays
  • caregiver burnout
  • post-concussion syndrome (if not improved by 1M post injury)
  • chronic traumatic encephalopathy: brain degeneration dt repeated head trauma ➔ increase risk for dementia
