ACLS Flashcards
1
Q
Situations that warrant asynchronized high energy defibrillation
A
- VF
- Pulseless V tach
- Polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (torsades de pointes)
Start with 100 joules in all synchronized cardioversions, except in AF you will give 200 joules from the start. You may start with 50 joules in SVT and atrial flutter.
