Acceleration RP7 Flashcards

1
Q

How do you set up the Acceleration practical?

A

A toy car on a table attached to string which leads to a pulley which holds an 100g mass. Draw chalk lines on the table at regular intervals
A timer

Q

Once the mass is let go, what should u do?

A

Record the time it takes the car to reach each chalk line
If the acceleration is very quick you may wish to use a phone to record it and play it back to make it easier

Q

How do you keep the mass of the object the same when u change the mass attached to the string?

A

If you decrease the mass attached by one value you have to attach a mass to the toy car of the same value
