ABV ranges

A

Most VDNs have minimum ABV of 15%

Moscato d’Asti - 4.5 - 6.5% ABV

Brachetta d’acqui: Rosso (5%), Spumante (6%)

Lambrusca: Frizzante (10.5%), Spumante (11%)

Port originally fortified to 18-19%, then fine tuned with adds of 2-3% - final ABV range = 19-22%

Champagnes typically around 12%
Prosecco typically around 11%
Cava: 10.8 - 12.8%

Madeira - range 17 -22% (**must verify)

Austria:
Federspiel:
Smaragd: min 12.5%

Germany:
Kabinett: min 7% 
Spatlese: min 7% 
Auslese: min 7% 
BA: min 5.5% 
TBA: min 5.5% 
Eiswein: min 5.5%
